What Is Lip Flip?

Not to be confused with Lip Filler, a "Lip Flip" is a great treatment for MANY! Does your top lip just disappear when you smile? Or maybe you have an upper lip that curls under a bit? Using a neurotoxin like Botox or Dysport, we can treat your top lip to allow that muscle to relax. This often allows your top lip the appear bigger without actually adding volume.

Benefits of Lip Flip

Lip flips are a cost-effective alternative to lip fillers that offer more subtle yet effective results. Lip flip treatments can help improve the appearance of a gummy smile and improve the contour in the upper lip. Other benefits include:

  • A fuller looking upper lip

  • Little downtime

  • Results in a few days

What product is used for a Lip Flip?

A neuromodulator like Botox or Dysport is injected into the muscle above the top lip. By relaxing this muscle, it allows for the top lip to turn upwards. This ultimately prevents the lip from curling under when smiling.

What is the difference between a Lip Flip and Lip Enhancement?

Although a lip flip can appear to enhance the shape of the top lip, Botox or Dysport will not add any volume to the lip. Dermal fillers will fill and physically add volume to the lips, usually with a substance called hyaluronic acid.

How long will my Lip Flip last?

Full results for a Lip Flip will show up between 10-14 days and will last approximately 2-3 months.
