BBL treatments are recommended in the fall and winter times when you are at your palest. This treatment can be done on various parts of your body including face, neck, chest, and hands.
Benefits of BBL
Broadband light therapy can make skin look clearer, even more toned, and more youthful. It can help improve many conditions associated with aging including hyperpigmentation (sunspots), redness, facial vessels, and pigmented scars. Some clients even report less breakouts after these treatments.

What is BBL?
A Broad band light, that is used to treat sun damage, redness, and pigment caused from acne scars. The light brings damaged skin cells to the surface that is called peppering. The peppering then fall off to reveal radiant youthful skin.
Is there downtime?
You can expect to be red anywhere from 30 minutes to 24 hours. You will notice your sun damage will become darker, this is called peppering and it lasts for about 10-14 days and will fall off on its own. Your skin will not peel from BBL, so you are free to use makeup after your treatment and can continue your normal routine. You just want to be careful to avoid sun exposure for 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks after your treatment. You also want to avoid exfoliating your skin for 14 days after your treatment.
How many treatments will I need?
You will notice significant improvement with just one treatment. We typically advise 3 treatments for clients with moderate to severe sun damage or those who suffer from rosacea and or broken capillaries. We recommend these treatments every 4 weeks.
